Alongside every bike comes a manufacturer's warranty on certain components that allow you to ride with peace of mind.

If any issues arise, we will assist you with the warranty process with the manufacturer in acquiring or repairing a part should you need it.

Is your employer signed up for a Cycle to Work scheme?

If so, you could save up to as much as 47% on a new electric bike from our selection of brands, with you being able to spread the price of the bike over a number of tax-fee monthly instalments.

Note: Discounts do not apply to purchases made via the cycle to work scheme. Also, only bikes that are classified as an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) in the UK are eligible for purchase under the Cycle to Work scheme. They must meet all 3 rules listed in the Electric Bike UK Laws tab.

Do you have a voucher?

If you have a Cycle to Work voucher/e-certificate/letter of collection, please email it over to us at info@ebikesexpress.co.uk to be processed.

Once your voucher is redeemed, we will arrange the delivery of your electric bike. We will guide you through this simple procedure and provide you with tracking information as soon as the bike has been dispatched.

Are you signed up for a scheme but have no voucher?

Tell your employer that you would like to utilise their Cycle to Work scheme and make a note of the price of the bike you would like to order to submit as a quote.

They will then provide you with a voucher that you would then forward to us, so your bike order can be processed.

There are a few regulations surrounding electric bikes in the UK so we thought we would provide you with a summary of those below:

You must be aged 14 or over in the UK to ride an electric bike.

You do not need tax, insurance or a driving license to ride an electric bike.

To be classified as an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) in the UK, an electric bike must fulfil a certain set of criteria, including:

• Pedals - The electric bike must have pedals capable of propelling it, and motor assistance should only be provided when the pedals are moving.
• Motor - The motor’s power output must be no more than 250 watts (W).
• Speed - The motor should not be able to propel the e-bike when it’s travelling faster than 15.5mph.

Please note that if your electric bike does not meet the above 3 points, then you cannot ride on public roads. Some of our bikes exceed the 250W limit, so these are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission.

It is the responsibility of the rider to wear protective clothing, however this is not a legal requirement.
