The Wisper Wayfarer M9 Mid-Drive Crossbar Electric Bike will take both your commutes and outdoor adventures to another level, whatever your cycling preferences are due to the brilliant well-rounded nature of this bike. The dynamic Wayfarer super hi torque motor has 100Nm of torque which paired with one of the removable batteries gives you a stimulating ride.

With whatever battery you decide to pick, you will not have to worry about the charge running out, as you are provided with impressive ranges of up to 60 miles and 90 miles on the 450Wh and 700Wh batteries respectively. Another handy electrical feature is the innovative Backlit LCD display that gives you ultimate control over your journeys.

The frame is manufactured with a strong and durable Hand welded 6061 Alloy material, and you also have 2 slick colour choices to pick from so you can stand out from the crowd. Also installed are Suntour XCM 32 100mm travel forks that enable you to have a smoother ride by absorbing the shocks and bumps on the surfaces.

This model truly allows you to conquer the outdoors, all whilst enjoying a pleasant ride due to the Wisper Comfort saddle. Other parts fitted that offer much utility include the Anodised Aluminium Mudguards that protect your bike from dirt and the dazzling front and rear lights that keep you visible at night and enhance your safety.

Whilst dominating both the urban and rural paths you can have full confidence in the responsive hydraulic disc brakes that maximise the bike's reliability. The Kenda 27.5” puncture resistant tyres add to the bike's versatility as they can withstand any terrain and conditions.

What is the Full Throttle Option?

Fully Certified, UK Legal Full Throttle Version Now Available. This option is now available for you as an add-on. The additional price is £300 for a new bike (Allow up to 8 weeks for certification and delivery). Please ask us for details at info@ebikesexpress.co.uk.

Full Throttle Range

Using your Wisper bike on throttle only will reduce your range by up to 30% and the torque pack will not help increase range whilst you are using the throttle only. If your bike has been upgraded so it works on the throttle only, we still suggest pedalling when you are able to do so. Use the throttle only function when you need to rest or to help you pull away when setting off.

Electric Bike UK Laws

There are a few regulations surrounding electric bikes in the UK so we thought we would provide you with a summary of those below:

You must be aged 14 or over in the UK to ride an electric bike.

You do not need tax, insurance or a driving license to ride an electric bike.

To be classified as an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) in the UK, an electric bike must fulfil a certain set of criteria, including:

Pedals - The electric bike must have pedals capable of propelling it, and motor assistance should only be provided when the pedals are moving.
Motor - The motor’s power output must be no more than 250 watts (W).
Speed - The motor should not be able to propel the e-bike when it’s travelling faster than 15.5mph.

Please note that if your electric bike does not meet the above 3 points, then you cannot ride on public roads. Some of our bikes exceed the 250W limit, so these are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission.

It is the responsibility of the rider to wear protective clothing, however this is not a legal requirement.
