At around 22kg with battery, the Cyrusher Voyage is one of the lighter electric bikes you'll find with a rear rack, integrated lighting, and a properly capable motor setup. That weight matters — not just for carrying up stairs or loading into a car boot, but for how the bike actually feels to ride. Light e-bikes move more like real bikes. The assist feels like support rather than an engine dragging you forward.
The crossbar frame gives the Voyage a classic, confident stance and adds structural rigidity — useful when you're riding loaded or covering longer distances at a steady pace. The upright geometry is relaxed without being slack; you sit comfortably without feeling like you're riding an armchair.
Torque-sensed assist for a natural riding experience
The 36V 250W rear hub motor is paired with a torque-sensor PAS system, which makes the assist feel proportional to your effort rather than simply switching on and off. It's the difference between a bike that supports you and one that replaces you — and it makes a real difference on longer journeys where cadence-only systems become tiring and erratic. The 36V 14Ah battery offers up to 75 miles of assisted range, which for most riders means charging once or twice a week rather than every night.
Components that hold up over time
The Voyage runs a Shimano 10-speed drivetrain — more gear range and closer ratios than 7-speed alternatives — alongside hydraulic disc brakes and a DZ45 colour display. These aren't components chosen to hit a price point; they're chosen to still be working reliably two years from now. The integrated lighting, rear rack, and aluminium kickstand mean there's nothing obvious left to add before you can start riding.
If you want a trekking e-bike for longer UK commutes and leisure riding that's light, honest in its capabilities, and built with components that earn their keep — the Voyage is a serious option.
Classic Crossbar Frame (~22kg) — Structural rigidity and a traditional riding feel with a notably low overall weight. Particularly well-suited to riders who carry gear regularly or cover longer distances at pace.
Torque-Sensor PAS — Natural, proportional assist that responds to how hard you pedal, not just whether you're pedalling. Makes longer rides feel genuinely effortless rather than mechanically assisted.
36V 250W Rear Hub Motor — Smooth, reliable power for urban commuting and longer leisure rides. Efficient at 36V for better range without sacrificing usable assist.
36V 14Ah Battery – up to 75 miles range — Generous range for a 36V system. Suitable for longer commutes and all-day riding. Most riders will charge two or three times per week rather than every night.
Shimano 10-Speed Drivetrain — Wide, precise gear range with closer ratios between speeds. Smooth, reliable shifts across all terrain types.
Hydraulic Disc Brakes — Confident, consistent stopping power in wet and dry conditions. Low maintenance and more reliable over time than mechanical cable alternatives.
DZ45 Colour OLED Display — Clear ride data in a compact, embedded design. Speed, battery level, assist mode and more at a glance.
Integrated Rear Rack & Lighting — Commuter-ready out of the box. No extra accessories needed for year-round daily riding.

There are a few regulations surrounding electric bikes in the UK so we thought we would provide you with a summary of those below:
You must be aged 14 or over in the UK to ride an electric bike.
You do not need tax, insurance or a driving license to ride an electric bike.
To be classified as an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) in the UK, an electric bike must fulfil a certain set of criteria, including:
- Pedals - The electric bike must have pedals capable of propelling it, and motor assistance should only be provided when the pedals are moving.
- Motor - The motor’s power output must be no more than 250 watts (W).
- Speed - The motor should not be able to propel the e-bike when it’s travelling faster than 15.5mph.
Please note that if your electric bike does not meet the above 3 points, then you cannot ride on public roads. Some of our bikes exceed the 250W limit, so these are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission.
It is the responsibility of the rider to wear protective clothing, however this is not a legal requirement.
