The Wisper Wayfarer H9 Hub-Drive Crossbar Electric Bike is a brilliant all-rounder that can conquer any terrain with confidence and dominance. Whether you are an adventurous explorer, city commuter or recreational rider, this model is a great cycling partner for any setting, offering you high performance and durability.

With the useful LCD display, you can monitor all the useful statistics related to your journey. There is also a thumb throttle feature that provides you with a walk assist mode and an assist booster that allows you to easily move through any environment.

One of the standout electrical components is the Wisper Hi Torque Rear Hub Drive Motor which supplies the bike with 43.2V and 250W of nominal power. There are also 2 battery options to pick from, with the 450Wh and 700Wh batteries providing you with ranges of up to 60 miles or 90 miles respectively. These can also be simply removed which provides much utility for charging.

Choose between 2 stylish colours, with both bikes being constructed with a sturdy and robust Hand welded, 6061 Alloy T4 and T6 tempered frame. The Suntour XCM 30 100mm travel forks absorb the bumps in the surfaces, allowing you to ride with full confidence and peace of mind.

Your safety is further enhanced with the puncture resistant tyres, and these combined with the comfortable saddle ensure you have a pleasant ride.

What is the Full Throttle Option?

Fully Certified, UK Legal Full Throttle Version Now Available. This option is now available for you as an add-on. The additional price is £300 for a new bike (Allow up to 8 weeks for certification and delivery). Please ask us for details at info@ebikesexpress.co.uk.

Full Throttle Range

Using your Wisper bike on throttle only will reduce your range by up to 30% and the torque pack will not help increase range whilst you are using the throttle only. If your bike has been upgraded so it works on the throttle only, we still suggest pedalling when you are able to do so. Use the throttle only function when you need to rest or to help you pull away when setting off.

Electric Bike UK Laws

There are a few regulations surrounding electric bikes in the UK so we thought we would provide you with a summary of those below:

You must be aged 14 or over in the UK to ride an electric bike.

You do not need tax, insurance or a driving license to ride an electric bike.

To be classified as an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) in the UK, an electric bike must fulfil a certain set of criteria, including:

Pedals - The electric bike must have pedals capable of propelling it, and motor assistance should only be provided when the pedals are moving.
Motor - The motor’s power output must be no more than 250 watts (W).
Speed - The motor should not be able to propel the e-bike when it’s travelling faster than 15.5mph.

Please note that if your electric bike does not meet the above 3 points, then you cannot ride on public roads. Some of our bikes exceed the 250W limit, so these are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission.

It is the responsibility of the rider to wear protective clothing, however this is not a legal requirement.
