The useful foldable design combined with the standard pedal assistance of a full-size electric bike makes the Falcon Compact a great cycling partner. Therefore this bike is appropriate to store either at home or take on public transport where a full-sized bike may be too large.
Another handy component that is installed is the pannier rack that has a 375wh battery installed within that gives you assistance for up to 40 miles. The Jiabo rear hub motor is what supplies this battery, and provides 40nm of torque so comes in handy on steep inclines.
Alongside this motor comes multiple levels of assistance that you can pick from by using the handlebar mounted display. This display also gives you useful figures relating to your rides like the speed and battery level. You can also switch between gears effortlessly with the 1x7 speed Shimano Tourney/Microshift gearing system and also have full confidence in the bike's stopping ability thanks to the maintenance-friendly V brakes.
With this bike, you can rest assured knowing that you will be riding in comfort, thanks to useful features such as the soft rubber grips and padded saddle. Folding the Falcon Compact is also a quick and easy process that can be done in 3 simple steps that take less than 15 seconds. Once it has been fully folded, the lightweight alloy frame ensures that the weight is low for carrying it off public transport or lifting it out of storage. It is also suitable for riders from 5'0" to 6'2" (152cm to 188cm).
Other convenient additions that are beneficial for all types of journeys are the full-length mudguards, kickstand and specially designed pannier rack.

There are a few regulations surrounding electric bikes in the UK so we thought we would provide you with a summary of those below:
You must be aged 14 or over in the UK to ride an electric bike.
You do not need tax, insurance or a driving license to ride an electric bike.
To be classified as an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) in the UK, an electric bike must fulfil a certain set of criteria, including:
- Pedals - The electric bike must have pedals capable of propelling it, and motor assistance should only be provided when the pedals are moving.
- Motor - The motor’s power output must be no more than 250 watts (W).
- Speed - The motor should not be able to propel the e-bike when it’s travelling faster than 15.5mph.
Please note that if your electric bike does not meet the above 3 points, then you cannot ride on public roads. Some of our bikes exceed the 250W limit, so these are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission.
It is the responsibility of the rider to wear protective clothing, however this is not a legal requirement.
