When I first looked at the Cyrusher Aura spec sheet, the thing that stood out immediately was the 52V system on a step-through fat tyre frame. Most step-through e-bikes sit at 36V or 48V — sensible enough for urban use. The Aura's 52V setup means more available torque, more consistent performance across varying terrain, and a battery (780Wh) that gives you real range rather than just reasonable range. It's a step-through designed for riders who want accessible ease without making any compromise on capability.
The low step-through frame is genuinely easy to mount — no crossbar negotiation in work clothes or a coat — and the upright geometry keeps riding comfortable over distance. But underneath that accessible exterior is a bike that can handle mixed terrain, light off-road surfaces, and longer leisure routes without breaking a sweat.
Two modes, one bike
The dual torque and cadence sensor system is a practical differentiator here. Use torque mode for stop-start urban riding and hill climbing — the assist responds to your effort, making junctions and gradients feel natural and manageable. Switch to cadence mode on flatter leisure routes for a steadier, more relaxed cruise. It genuinely changes the riding experience depending on where you are, which makes the Aura unusually versatile for a bike in this category.
Samsung battery with enough range to matter
The 52V 15Ah Samsung battery (780Wh) supports up to 60 miles of assisted range — enough for a week of commuting or a solid weekend adventure without recharging between. The wide 26″ × 4.0″ Chaoyang fat tyres provide grip, stability, and cushioning across canal towpaths, gravel, wet roads, and broken tarmac. Logan hydraulic disc brakes with 2-piston calipers, a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain, and a front suspension fork with lockout complete a well-thought-through package.
The Aura is a step-through fat tyre electric bike for riders who want to cover more ground on more varied terrain, without the intimidation of a mountain-style frame and without the performance limitations of a basic urban step-through.
52V System with 80Nm Torque — Higher voltage than most step-through alternatives, delivering stronger, more consistent assist performance especially on gradients and mixed terrain. The 80Nm torque output is notably high for a 250W rear hub motor.
Dual Torque & Cadence Sensor System — Torque mode for natural, effort-responsive assist in stop-start and hilly conditions. Cadence mode for relaxed, consistent support on flatter routes. A practical choice rather than a theoretical one.
52V 15Ah Samsung Battery (780Wh) — Up to 60 miles of assisted range. Samsung cells for long-term capacity consistency. Removable for home or office charging.
Step-Through Frame — Low, easy-access design that makes mounting effortless in everyday clothing. No high crossbar, no awkward dismount — just step on and go.
26″ × 4.0″ Chaoyang Fat Tyres — High-volume tyres that improve grip, comfort, and stability across gravel, wet roads, canal towpaths, and mixed urban terrain. Noticeably more forgiving and more stable than narrower alternatives.
Front Suspension Fork with Lockout — Absorbs road vibration and trail chatter on mixed surfaces. Lock out on smooth tarmac for more efficient pedalling when conditions allow.
Logan Hydraulic Disc Brakes (2-Piston) — Reliable, consistent stopping power in all weather. Hydraulic actuation for better feel and lower maintenance than cable alternatives.
Shimano 7-Speed Drivetrain — Practical gear range for varied UK terrain with dependable, smooth shifts.

There are a few regulations surrounding electric bikes in the UK so we thought we would provide you with a summary of those below:
You must be aged 14 or over in the UK to ride an electric bike.
You do not need tax, insurance or a driving license to ride an electric bike.
To be classified as an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) in the UK, an electric bike must fulfil a certain set of criteria, including:
- Pedals - The electric bike must have pedals capable of propelling it, and motor assistance should only be provided when the pedals are moving.
- Motor - The motor’s power output must be no more than 250 watts (W).
- Speed - The motor should not be able to propel the e-bike when it’s travelling faster than 15.5mph.
Please note that if your electric bike does not meet the above 3 points, then you cannot ride on public roads. Some of our bikes exceed the 250W limit, so these are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission.
It is the responsibility of the rider to wear protective clothing, however this is not a legal requirement.
