The Panther is not your usual electric bicycle, thanks to the extensive practical benefits it gives you. It is another model by E-movement that is available to purchase in some striking colours, so you can pick one to match your personality. With it being another well-rounded bike to add to a stacked E-movement collection, you can ride safely and in style. This can be on either urban or rural trails thanks to the robust puncture-resistant tyres or the handy folding frame.

ATTENTION: The 500W E-bike model does not comply with the current EAPC requirements for UK road use. Road compliant bikes are available see our other model variants.

With a full suspension system being installed, you can endure improved stability and comfort, with it soaking up the shocks from bumps in rugged surfaces. The frame has been constructed with a robust aluminium 6061 material so will hold firm even in the poorest of conditions. All-Terrain Puncture Resistant Tyres give you maximum confidence in any environment and increase the versatility of your journeys. Whether you are a daily commuter in the city or more of a rural rider, the Panther is a dependable pick for you.

At the heart of the bike is a 48V Rear Hub Brushless Motor that gives you impressive power delivery and lets you dominate any path in front of you. There are 2 motor options to pick from with a road-legal 250W motor and a 500W one that is great for off-road exploring. As well as being able to pick from numerous motor options you can also customise your ride with your preferred battery pick too. Each one of these provides trustworthy battery power, and they are integrated neatly into the aluminium frame.

An easy-to-use LCD Display is fitted which lets you monitor the important metrics related to your trips. Another handy electrical feature is the digitally connected throttle that can be switched on and off with just a tap on the LCD display as mentioned previously. This will allow you to align with the UK laws if you are travelling on-road or will let you conquer the off-road trails even more so by switching this on.

The foldable design allows you to save space when storing it in your home and also allows you to transport it easily wherever you go, especially on public transport. The modern Shimano 7S/8S gear system lets you rotate between gears smoothly which is necessary when encountering various slopes and inclines. Different gradients also require effective braking and the hydraulic disc brakes provide this in abundance.

Electric Bike UK Laws

There are a few regulations surrounding electric bikes in the UK so we thought we would provide you with a summary of those below:

You must be aged 14 or over in the UK to ride an electric bike.

You do not need tax, insurance or a driving license to ride an electric bike.

To be classified as an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) in the UK, an electric bike must fulfil a certain set of criteria, including:

Pedals - The electric bike must have pedals capable of propelling it, and motor assistance should only be provided when the pedals are moving.
Motor - The motor’s power output must be no more than 250 watts (W).
Speed - The motor should not be able to propel the e-bike when it’s travelling faster than 15.5mph.

Please note that if your electric bike does not meet the above 3 points, then you cannot ride on public roads. Some of our bikes exceed the 250W limit, so these are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission.

It is the responsibility of the rider to wear protective clothing, however this is not a legal requirement.
