Description

This is not your standard folding bike! It has quick release mechanisms that allow you to fold up all parts of the bike swiftly in 4 uncomplicated steps and once folded the dimensions are a minuscule 83cm x 67cm x 47cm. This compact size means it is perfectly suitable to transport it on either a packed train or store it in the back of a car so is high in portability. This bike is also one of the lightest folding electric bikes out there whilst also having many other advantages from the practical components that are fitted.

Installed in the rear hub is a 250W 36V brushless gear drive motor that provides you with greater traction and superior handling. It also comes with 45Nm of torque so offers an impressive combination of dominance and efficiency. Energising this motor is a 418Wh battery that is removable so provides benefits when it comes to charging and storage.

Due to this bike being equipped with a Shimano CLARIS 8 Speed gearing system, you can maintain your pedaling cadence at the rate you are comfortable with. Gear changing is made effortless thanks to the Shimano ALTUS RapidFire Plus Shifter with you just having to push your thumb for a switch in gear.

Promax mechanical disc brakes are straightforward to maintain and supply you with dependable braking force. You will also be cycling on strong puncture-resistant tyres that give you confidence breezing over any surface whether that be in urban streets or countryside paths.

Functional LED Display - Switch between 5 modes of electrical assistance to match your exercising goals. For added convenience, there is also a walk assist mode should you need to give your legs a rest when going up a steep hill for example.

Handy Foldable Frame - In 4 trouble-free steps the bike can be rapidly folded into a small size of 83cm x 67cm x 47cm. This portability will be highly useful if you are boarding trains or want to fit it in the rear of your car.

Front and Rear Mudguards - Both the rider and the bike components are kept dry and the stylish look of the bicycle is also preserved with these mudguards.

Kickstand - Once you have finished your journey, the kickstand will allow your bike to sit in an upright position therefore preventing damage from occurring on the bike and maintaining the slick aesthetic.

Electric Bike UK Laws

There are a few regulations surrounding electric bikes in the UK so we thought we would provide you with a summary of those below:

You must be aged 14 or over in the UK to ride an electric bike.

You do not need tax, insurance or a driving license to ride an electric bike.

To be classified as an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) in the UK, an electric bike must fulfil a certain set of criteria, including:

Pedals - The electric bike must have pedals capable of propelling it, and motor assistance should only be provided when the pedals are moving.
Motor - The motor’s power output must be no more than 250 watts (W).
Speed - The motor should not be able to propel the e-bike when it’s travelling faster than 15.5mph.

Please note that if your electric bike does not meet the above 3 points, then you cannot ride on public roads. Some of our bikes exceed the 250W limit, so these are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission.

It is the responsibility of the rider to wear protective clothing, however this is not a legal requirement.
