I'll be honest with you — if you're after a fat tyre electric bike that keeps its head down on towpaths and mild gravel tracks, there are road-legal options that will serve you well. But if you want something with real off-road credentials — trails, sand, loose surfaces, the kind of terrain where most e-bikes start to struggle — the Fiido M1 Pro is a different conversation entirely.
It's designed for riders who want to go beyond smooth tarmac. The 20" × 4.0 fat tyres provide exceptional grip and cushioning on gravel, dirt, sand, and broken surfaces — the kind of ride confidence that makes you choose the interesting route rather than defaulting to the road. Combined with the front suspension fork (80 mm travel on the 2025 model) and rear shock absorber, rough ground stops being something you brace against and starts being something the bike simply absorbs.
Power that matches the terrain
The brushless geared motor with torque sensor (2025 version) delivers smooth, responsive power that adapts to how hard you're pedalling — not the blunt on/off assist you'd get from cheaper cadence-based systems. With up to 50 Nm of torque, steep climbs and soft ground feel far more manageable. The 7-speed drivetrain gives you the flexibility to tackle steep gradients, loose surfaces, and everything in between without forcing a single gear compromise.
Hydraulic brakes and all-weather reliability
The 2025 M1 Pro comes upgraded with hydraulic disc brakes — a meaningful step up from mechanical discs on slippery surfaces and descents. Combined with the IP54 water-resistant rating, it's a bike built to handle unpredictable conditions year-round.
Practical despite the rugged build
The foldable frame makes storage more manageable than you'd expect from a bike this capable — shed, car boot, or garage without drama. With a rider height range from 5'1" to 6'7" and an adjustable seat, it fits a broad range of riders comfortably. Range of up to 87 km means longer adventures between charges.
ATTENTION: This E-bike does not fully comply with the current EAPC requirements for UK road use. Road-compliant bikes are available see our other model variants.
Please refer to the DVSA legislation which can be found here before purchasing.
20" × 4.0 Fat Tyres + Dual Suspension — All-Terrain Confidence
Wide fat tyres grip and absorb on gravel, sand, dirt, and broken tarmac. Front fork (80 mm travel) and rear shock absorber work together to smooth out what the trail throws at you.
Torque Sensor (2025 Version) — Smooth Power on Varied Surfaces
The torque sensor responds to your pedal effort naturally and proportionately — essential for maintaining control on loose or technical terrain where blunt cadence-sensor assist would throw off your rhythm.
Up to 50 Nm Torque — Steep Climbs and Soft Ground
Strong torque output makes steep off-road inclines and loose surfaces feel far more manageable. Paired with 7-speed gearing for maximum flexibility.
Hydraulic Disc Brakes (2025 Upgrade) — Confident Stopping
A step up from mechanical discs — more progressive, more consistent, and notably better on slippery descents and wet surfaces.
Foldable Frame — Practical Storage for an Off-Road Build
Folds for storage in sheds, car boots, and garages. Versatile enough to take to a trail, not just leave in one place.
Up to 87 km Range — Removable Battery
Supports longer off-road rides and weekend adventures without needing to cut routes short. Battery detaches for home or workplace charging.

There are a few regulations surrounding electric bikes in the UK so we thought we would provide you with a summary of those below:
You must be aged 14 or over in the UK to ride an electric bike.
You do not need tax, insurance or a driving license to ride an electric bike.
To be classified as an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) in the UK, an electric bike must fulfil a certain set of criteria, including:
- Pedals - The electric bike must have pedals capable of propelling it, and motor assistance should only be provided when the pedals are moving.
- Motor - The motor’s power output must be no more than 250 watts (W).
- Speed - The motor should not be able to propel the e-bike when it’s travelling faster than 15.5mph.
Please note that if your electric bike does not meet the above 3 points, then you cannot ride on public roads. Some of our bikes exceed the 250W limit, so these are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission.
It is the responsibility of the rider to wear protective clothing, however this is not a legal requirement.
