The EBCO Urban 2T, weighing in at just 20 kg, utilises a Trapeze alloy frame with a reduced step-over height for easy access and versatility. This urban electric bike is suited to getting around town and exploring the countryside in comfort and style. The ideal commuting and leisure bike. Designed with value in mind, the Urban 2T is our most affordable eBike, yet it’s packed full of features found on higher-priced bikes. The Urban 2T features an integrated battery for a clean traditional look that gets the ball rolling. Continental 42mm tyres for a smooth ride, Shimano 7-speed gear system and Clarkes Hydraulic disc brakes plus a strong rear luggage rack are the main highlights. Perfectly complemented with power assist coming from the Bafang H300 rear motor producing 32nm of torque backed up by LG cell Lithium 360wh Battery. What’s the difference between the 2T and 2R?
The 2T has a trapeze alloy frame with a lower step-over height for easier access, whereas the 2R has a standard alloy frame for strength and stability.

Assembly - Included in the price of this e-bike is a PDI, where your e-bike will be both assembled and checked by a trained mechanic before riding. This will be arranged upon dispatch of your e-bike, where a time will be arranged for them to assemble and inspect your e-bike. More details can be found on this service here.
Warranty - Upon purchase of this bike you are provided with a 2 year warranty.
Please Note: Not all faults are covered by warranty. Below scenarios are NOT covered under warranty.
- Stripped pedal threads.
- Damage from causes other than defects in material or workmanship. For instance, damage caused by crashing your bike.
- Normal wear and tear. Components may show signs of wear and tear in less than two years depending on amount of use, type of use and other conditions.
- Damage to products improperly installed or repaired.
- Products that have been modified, neglected, abused or poorly maintained.
- Electric bikes that have been derestricted or modified.

There are a few regulations surrounding electric bikes in the UK so we thought we would provide you with a summary of those below:
You must be aged 14 or over in the UK to ride an electric bike.
You do not need tax, insurance or a driving license to ride an electric bike.
To be classified as an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) in the UK, an electric bike must fulfil a certain set of criteria, including:
- Pedals - The electric bike must have pedals capable of propelling it, and motor assistance should only be provided when the pedals are moving.
- Motor - The motor’s power output must be no more than 250 watts (W).
- Speed - The motor should not be able to propel the e-bike when it’s travelling faster than 15.5mph.
Please note that if your electric bike does not meet the above 3 points, then you cannot ride on public roads. Some of our bikes exceed the 250W limit, so these are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission.
It is the responsibility of the rider to wear protective clothing, however this is not a legal requirement.
