The Wayfarer H7 is the brother to the H9 crossbar model, with the functional step through frame reducing any accessibility obstacles for those with limited mobility. The stiff frame provides great modulation and stability which will be especially useful when maneuvering in compact areas. It is energised by an authoritative super hi torque hub motor that develops 50Nm at the wheel which is roughly the equivalent of 100Nm at the pedals. Power for this motor is supplied by one of the long-lasting batteries, with either option being removable which provides much convenience with charging.

Another electrical component is the Backlit LCD display that outlines the important metrics related to your journeys. Adding to this bicycle's utility, you can opt for the walk assist mode using the thumb throttle which will provide assistance at a walking pace up to a speed of around 6 kilometres per hour. A Shimano Altus 8 speed gearing system with a Rapid Fire shifter enables rapid transitions between gears which is highly important when tackling steep hills. The larger range of gears means smoother pedalling at any level and Hydraulic disc brakes placed front and rear will give you emphatic stopping power with less hand force.

Impressive puncture protection is ensured with the Kenda 27.5” 2.2 tyres that have a reflector that will better your visibility for your fellow road users. This collaboration with the shining front and rear lights boosts the safety of your rides massively.

What is the Full Throttle Option?

Full Throttle Range

Using your Wisper bike on throttle only will reduce your range by up to 30% and the torque pack will not help increase range whilst you are using the throttle only. If your bike has been upgraded so it works on the throttle only, we still suggest pedalling when you are able to do so. Use the throttle only function when you need to rest or to help you pull away when setting off.

Electric Bike UK Laws

There are a few regulations surrounding electric bikes in the UK so we thought we would provide you with a summary of those below:

You must be aged 14 or over in the UK to ride an electric bike.

You do not need tax, insurance or a driving license to ride an electric bike.

To be classified as an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) in the UK, an electric bike must fulfil a certain set of criteria, including:

Pedals - The electric bike must have pedals capable of propelling it, and motor assistance should only be provided when the pedals are moving.
Motor - The motor’s power output must be no more than 250 watts (W).
Speed - The motor should not be able to propel the e-bike when it’s travelling faster than 15.5mph.

Please note that if your electric bike does not meet the above 3 points, then you cannot ride on public roads. Some of our bikes exceed the 250W limit, so these are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission.

It is the responsibility of the rider to wear protective clothing, however this is not a legal requirement.
