The Wisper Wayfarer M7 Mid-Drive Step Through Electric Bike is a versatile model that can perfectly adapt to any setting seamlessly. Should you want to do some outdoor exploring, then features such as the Kenda 27.5” 2.2 high puncture resistance tyres will come in handy when powering through any rural trail. But if you will be using the bike for your daily commute to work then the sturdy and strong step through frame will ensure simple mounting and dismounting of the bicycle.

At the heart of this bike is the powerful Wisper Super Hi Torque Motor with a large 100Nm in torque. Feel a dominant boost that enables you to conquer any environment. There are 2 different battery options to pick from that are both long lasting, with the 450Wh and 700Wh batteries providing you with ranges of 60 miles and 90 miles respectively.

As always with Wisper bikes, comfort is at the forefront of the manufacturing. The Magix black anodised 110mm adjustable stem allows you to adjust to find your optimal position to ensure a pleasant ride, whilst sitting on a Wisper Comfort saddle. With there being swept back anodised black handlebars installed also, you can navigate any route with confidence.

What is the Full Throttle Option?

Full Throttle Range

Using your Wisper bike on throttle only will reduce your range by up to 30% and the torque pack will not help increase range whilst you are using the throttle only. If your bike has been upgraded so it works on the throttle only, we still suggest pedalling when you are able to do so. Use the throttle only function when you need to rest or to help you pull away when setting off.

Electric Bike UK Laws

There are a few regulations surrounding electric bikes in the UK so we thought we would provide you with a summary of those below:

You must be aged 14 or over in the UK to ride an electric bike.

You do not need tax, insurance or a driving license to ride an electric bike.

To be classified as an electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) in the UK, an electric bike must fulfil a certain set of criteria, including:

Pedals - The electric bike must have pedals capable of propelling it, and motor assistance should only be provided when the pedals are moving.
Motor - The motor’s power output must be no more than 250 watts (W).
Speed - The motor should not be able to propel the e-bike when it’s travelling faster than 15.5mph.

Please note that if your electric bike does not meet the above 3 points, then you cannot ride on public roads. Some of our bikes exceed the 250W limit, so these are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission.

It is the responsibility of the rider to wear protective clothing, however this is not a legal requirement.
